Medal winning at the BJJA Nationals

BJJA 2010 - Junior Random Attack (white to blue belt)
BJJA 2010 Senior Continuous Fighting under 75kg
BJJA GB Bronze Medal winners

Congratulations to Tom, Liam, and Sensei Darren who won medals at the 2010 BJJA national championships.

  • Tom (along with Amy) won Silver in the Random Attack. It was a very close contest at the end and could easily have gone to Tom as the final decision from the three judges was one in favour and two against.
  • Liam gained Bronze in the Continuous Fighting 15-17 despite some controversial refereeing.
  • Sensei Darren also took Bronze in the Continuous Fighting under 75kg category.

Tottenham Jujitsu, also part of Goshin gained two Golds and a Silver all in Continuous Fighting at various weights, and Leighton Buzzard's Sensei Ben also gained a medal in Continuous Fighting.

Well done to Kesia, Charlie, James and Sensei Lee who took part and put in fine performances in Random Attack, Kata and Continuous Fighting.

Hopefully many more can enter in the Southend Competition in May and we can sweep the medals board! Let me know before the end of March if you are interested.
