Shenley Jujitsu Club has another two black belts!

Chris and Tom graded on Sunday the 6th of September and passed with flying colours. Many congratulations to both of them. Since they joined Shenley as juniors we have watched their skill and speed improve over the years to finally gain the high standard required for black.

During the 2 hour grading they demonstrated the full range of techniques from throws to locks. It was a tough grading, as all black belts are, particularly the random attack section where they had to defend themselves against three attackers. A few of the strikes hit home and the ukis did well to keep up the attacks.

The grading was watched by 11 black belts from the various Goshin Clubs including Tony Henderson 5th Dan, Dave Boddy 5th Dan and Shihan Player 8th Dan.
