Grading Day - March 2009
Congratulations to those who passed their grading at the end of March!
We saw some excellent gradings - the standard has improved a lot and everyone was much better at showing off their previous syllabus which was great to see. All of the sensei were very impressed - we had to award many more gold tabs for getting over 90% this time.
Special mention goes to Sophie for her Junior Brown belt - a tough grading with multiple black belt attackers. Amy also did well in the Kodoma Brown belt and achieved the highest grade of the evening with 93%.
Other notable gradings include Deeny, Kesia, Joe, Josh, Tom S and Tom P. Well done to them.
We had to say farewell to Melinda who's off to South Africa with her family - we wish her well. She's been an excellent student during her time at the club.
