Shenley Jujitsu Club

A big thank you to Lee Attey Sensei for running the weapons course recently at Shenley Jujitsu Club whilst on holiday from his daily Aikido training in Japan.

There was a great turnout for the course with a total of 31 students in attendance of different grades from white belt through to black belt, representing 6 different Jujitsu and Aikido clubs, some coming from as far afield as London. Thanks to you all for attending.

The course comprised 2 halves of approximately 1 and 1/4 hours each, firstly using the Bokken and in the second half, the Jo. Lee Sensei would demonstrate a technique assisted by Nahoko and the students would then practice this technique with Lee and Nahoko offering assistance and guidance where necessary.

At the end of the course, everyone went away having both thoroughly enjoyed the day, made new friends and learnt something new, with the feedback being very positive about the days events.
